I'm Nikita Flynn, and I am beyond thrilled to share my rollercoaster of a journey with you as the newly appointed CEO of Gifted Career Solutions, an amazing foundation dedicated to helping women increase wealth and well-being! Picture this: I was once this senior public relations executive, a leading voice of counsel for even more senior leaders, negotiating planning, managing a team, and feeling like I could take on the world! But then life threw me the ultimate curveball - motherhood!

 

Don't get me wrong, being a mom is the most rewarding thing ever, but it also comes
with a whole new set of challenges, right?

 

So, I made the courageous decision to press the pause button on my professional
career and embraced the incredible adventure of being a stay-at-home mom. Oh boy,
let me tell you, those days were filled with laughter, tears, endless school projects,
recitals, sports events, you name it, I was there! But in the midst of all the beautiful
chaos, I realized something: there were thousands of talented moms (and women) out there just like me, who had put their careers on hold and were itching to jump back into the
professional world.

 

Flash forward to a few years later, and there I was, dusting off my power suits and
diving headfirst back into the finance industry. But let me be real with you - it wasn't a
piece of cake. I faced doubts, setbacks, and even moments when I questioned my
decision. But you know what? It was all worth it because I’d pivoted into a new career,
reinvented myself, discovered a new business that I LOVED and worked with some
pretty amazing people.

 

As I navigated through my return into the workforce and managing work life balance, I
couldn't ignore the still lingering struggles of women and fellow moms –at all stages--
trying to do the same. The corporate world, as fantastic as it is, often lacks the structure
and support that many women need to juggle their careers and family life successfully.
However, with a few years in, five securities licenses under my belt and in my sweet
spot at one of the top investment banks, the familiar tug of being torn between a fulfilling
career and a need to make a pivot again to better balance life beyond the office walls
kept re-emerging. And that's when I knew I had to step up and make a change!

 

Fast forward again, and here I am, proudly at the helm of this incredible foundation. My
ambition is crystal clear: I want to create a workplace revolution! One where women not only survive but thrive, and where they have all the support, flexibility, and understanding they need.

 

I've walked in your shoes, my dear readers, and I get it - the guilt of leaving your little
ones (or not so littler ones) in the morning, the struggle to find a balance (which school
event will I miss), and the constant fear of not being enough. But let me tell you something: you are more than enough! And I'm here to make sure the world knows it
too.

 

As the CEO of this fantastic foundation, I promise to push for programs that support women, moms, professional growth, flexible work hours, remote options, and more. I want to see
more women in leadership positions, more mentors cheering on fellow moms, and more
family-friendly policies where women can pursue their dreams without compromising
on the joys of life.
